Parliament returns today after the summer recess, and I am back in Westminster ready to continue standing up for people across Aldridge-Brownhills ✅
This afternoon, the new Prime Minister will make a statement to the House, giving MPs the first opportunity to question them directly. Tomorrow will also bring his first Prime Minister’s Questions.
There is plenty of important business ahead this week, including announcements on high streets, planning reform, housing and bus fares – all of which will have an impact on our area.
Over the summer, constituents have continued to raise concerns with me about protecting our precious Green Belt, supporting local shops and high streets, access to NHS services, delays with pensions and the everyday pressures facing families and businesses. I’ll make sure the government hears those concerns loud and clear over the coming weeks 💪
