It was a privilege to join so many residents, veterans, cadets and community organizations at yesterday’s Armed Forces Day event at Walsall Arboretum, and see our community come together to recognise and thank all those who serve and have served our Country.
I particularly enjoyed catching up with members of our local Aldridge branch of the Royal British Legion too, whose work and commitment should never be underestimated. Thank you all for the work you do as volunteers to serve the Armed Forces Community.
Huge thanks to everyone involved in organising this event.
