Today is Animal Road Accident Awareness Day and, as the daylight hours get shorter, it’s important to watch out for animals on the road. Animals such as deer, dogs and cats can all too often be casualties of road traffic accidents on our roads locally and it can be particularly distressing when pets are victims.
