Saturday night was Red Carpet Night at the Aldridge Youth Theatre with another fabulous Red Carpet Charity Musical Extravaganza organised by Aldridge Rotary.
The evening began with the brilliant Aldridge Ukelele Band and Phil’s Friends who performed a fun and lively mix of music with everything from Chattannooga Choo Choo to Dance the Night Away, Wild Rover to Sylvia’s Mother.
We were then entertained with a fantastic range of songs performed by the very talented Samuel Egginton including songs from Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Adele. It’s fair to say that those of us in the audience were singing along, clapping and tapping our feet!
It was a magical evening showcasing some of our local talent and raising funds for charities including The Epilepsy Society and The Midlands Air Ambulance. Well done everyone!!
