Saturday was a bit of a cold and blustery spring day, but it was good to pop along and meet up with some of those who had braved the weather to set up their stalls at the Spring event organised by the Aldridge Village Partnership.

As well as trying my luck – and winning – on some of the tombola’s and fundraising activities of our local charities and organisations such as the Walsall Cats Protection and the local Guides and Brownies, I was able to meet up with fellow Rotarians from The Rotary Club of Aldridge who were handing out copies of the Rotary Walk around Aldridge.

It may have been a bit chilly but I still managed to come home with a few jars of jam and tombola prizes. Well done everyone for braving the weather!
