It was great to join Rotarians from Aldridge and Darlaston on Saturday at The Swag, helping at the Sailing Day organised by Aldridge Sailing Club.
The Club firmly believe that sailing is a sport that can be enjoyed by all, no matter of background or ability, and Saturday was a wonderful day with visitors arranged through Mencap and Walsall Amputee Centre.
Well done to everyone involved in the Sailing Day, including Aldridge British Legion who provided the barbecue. – it was another great example of our local community working together.
I also enjoyed the offer to test my skills and have a sail too!
