A huge round of applause
for Aldridge Community Concert Band and Aldridge Community Swing Band for a fantastic debut concert on Saturday evening.
With music from Mamma Mia, Saturday Night Fever, The Beatles, plus of course some Band favourites such as Senorita Fajita and Hootenanny we were all tapping our toes, clapping and joining in the fun as instructed
Thank you Sophie, Sam and Hannah for a wonderful evening, but also for all you have done to bring this group together – and to showcase the amazing musical talent that we have here in Aldridge – talent that has been nurtured and encouraged at Aldridge School over many years, and continues to thrive today.
This was the Band’s debut concert, raising vital funds to support the amazing The THOMAS Project a charity based locally in Aldridge which works tirelessly with vulnerable residents and those needing support.
I’m looking forward to hearing of the date of the next concert!
