As Britain fell silent at the 11th hour this morning, it was deeply moving to see communities right across Aldridge-Brownhills come together in a profound act of Remembrance.
It was a personal honour for me to lay a wreath at the War Memorial here in Aldridge. We paid our respects to every person who paid the ultimate price for the freedoms we cherish today.
We will always remember their sacrifice.
