From handing out medals to the runners, starting the 10k with a loud hooter and then helping with the trophies and prizes, I loved every minute of the day and enjoyed being kept busy by Joanne Louise and the fantastic team from the Aldridge Running Club who organise this fantastic local event each year. A big thank you and shout out must go to all those who are part of making it the success it is – including the Stick & Wicket, The Pioneer magazine, Specsavers in Aldridge and the many many volunteers, including those who keep our village looking tidy and litter free.
And of course huge congratulations to everyone who took part – individuals, running clubs, adults and children – well done everyone. Huge credit to the team from the Hot House and Tynings Lane Church too who were accompanied my Maggie running in her fabulous Unicorn costume 🦄☀️🏃♀️➡️Brilliant! And it was great to see Sean Egan in Aldridge too 👍
