This summer whilst I was out and about across my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency I was delighted to be able to spend time with some of our local Scouts groups. I was therefore really pleased yesterday that the Government announced a new £5 million fund which will support the expansion of Scouts and Guides across the country.
Organisations such as our local Scouts and Guides play a key role in many childhoods, teaching important life skills such as teamwork and this additional funding is a further step towards helping all of our young people achieve their full potential.
