It’s always good to meet up with Mayor Andy Street in the constituency. Last week we were pleased to visit the Precision Tooling Academy at In-comm Training & Business Services where we met up with Gareth and his team, and saw at first hand how the employer-led approach to advance engineering skills development is progressing.
It was a pleasure once more to see so many young people take the opportunity of experiencing a further insight into what opportunities are available to our next generation of apprentices.
We are extremely fortunate to have this valuable resource in the constituency and I was pleased that Mayor Andy Street was also able to see the facility first-hand.
Skills and apprenticeships are central to the new Trailblazing Devolution Deal which has been agreed between Mayor Andy Street and the Government and I am pleased that here in the West Midlands that it is Aldridge-Brownhills leading the way!
