A new winter package has been unveiled by the Government to provide extra support to ensure that all vulnerable families are all helped with essential items.
The Government have announced a £400 million package of long term support going beyond the food voucher system.
It will include an additional £170 million this winter to support children, families and the most vulnerable in our society.
The Holiday Activities and Food Programme, which provides healthy food to disadvantaged children, offering long term structured activities face to face, will be expanded across the whole country from Easter 2021.
This Government policy will have a long term impact for so many families right across my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency.
