I popped into Aldridge Rotary Club’s Health Awareness Day, and joined in to have a free health check including blood pressure, BMI, and blood sugar tests. It’s a great example of one of the many projects that Rotary get involved with to support our local community.
I also met with In Comm Training in Aldridge and learned about their organisation and the work they do around my constituency.
Cllr Lorna Rattigan and I were invited to place a plaque, on behalf of the Friends of Rushall Park, at the tree planted last year by my predecessor Sir Richard Shepherd in Rushall. It commemorates the anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War.
