Christmas is a special time – a time to remember and celebrate the birth of Christ.
It is a time to be merry and joyful, to spend time with our loved ones, and to reflect on the true meaning of the season.
As we enjoy the festivities, it is also a time to remember those who are elderly, unwell, or alone during Christmas, and to extend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. We should also take a moment to appreciate the service and dedication of our Armed Forces, as well as the men and women who work tirelessly to keep us safe and secure throughout the year, including the emergency services, healthcare providers, firefighters, and police.
As the Member of Parliament for Aldridge-Brownhills I remain proudly committed to serving my constituents, and to supporting local groups and campaigns that benefit our community. I have had the privilege of meeting many of you over the last year, as well as the inspirational groups, organisations, charities and businesses that make a positive difference in our community. I applaud you all for the tremendous work you do, often without recognition but with great impact.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Peaceful New Year, and I look forward to seeing you in 2024.
