| It was lovely to join the Staffordshire Band on Saturday evening at their Christmas Concert.
The band, as many will know, was formed over 100 years ago and originally named the Walsall Wood Institute Temperance Band, becoming the Staffordshire Band in 1998. It was good to see them lead the parade at the Act of Remembrance in November. So it was good to be at their Christmas Concert on Saturday evening and to once again be roped in to participate – this time assisting with conducting the Schneewalzer! The Staffordshire Band are planning a number of events next year, including several at St John’s Church in Walsall Wood.
