I was pleased to support National Apprenticeship Week 2019 by visiting In-Comm Training and Business Services in Aldridge earlier today. Now in its twelfth year, National Apprenticeship Week, celebrates the success of apprentices and encourages even more young people to choose an apprenticeship as a pathway to a great career.
It was a pleasure to see first-hand this morning the spectrum of apprenticeships which are on offer to young people and on International Women’s Day it was a pleasure to be shown round the site by two female engineering apprentices. The diversity and opportunities available to all our apprentices is providing greater opportunities for young people and is helping to bridge the skills gap for our whole economy.
I would congratulate all employers who invest their time and money in apprentices and thank you to Gareth and all the team at In-Comm Training and Business Services for another informative visit.
