As Britain fell silent on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month we once again came together as a nation in an Act of Remembrance to honour those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
On Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph in Aldridge I was once again honoured to lay a wreath and, later in the day attended the parade and service at St John’s Church in Walsall Wood.
Across the constituency, individuals, volunteers and community groups, our schools, uniformed services, the scouts, guiding groups and many other local organisations came together alongside the Royal British Legion and veterans for Remembrance Sunday. Lest we forget.
