Summer recess is a good time to prepare work for when Parliament returns, but equally important it’s a chance to get out and about, meet with residents, community groups and businesses and listen to your views.
Over the last two weeks I have undertaken a series of ‘Meet Your MP’ events right across the constituency.
The events have been well received and have been enjoyable and very helpful to me too in picking up and discussing local issues. What matters to local residents matters to me – be that the impact of flooding, litter and fly tipping, or crime and policing.
