I was delighted to be able to attend the National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast in Westminster Hall last week and to welcome Reverend Dave Bishop from St James Church Brownhills & Holy Trinity Church Clayhanger.
The annual Prayer Breakfast is an important event in the parliamentary calendar. It recognises the profound contribution that Christianity makes to the national life of our country, and was an excellent opportunity for a huge range of church leaders and groups to come together.
