It is great to once again be supporting the annual Summer Reading Challenge.

This summer, children aged 4-11 can visit their local library to get involved with the Summer Reading Challenge, this year themed around the power of play, sport and games.

The Summer Reading Challenge has been running since 1999 and helps to improve children’s reading skills and confidence of reading over the summer holidays, ensuring they are ready for their return to school.

This is a great initiative, that I am delighted to be once again supporting and I am looking forward throughout the recess to visit local libraries in Aldridge-Brownhills who will be participating.
