In Parliament, I spoke up for the thousands of pensioners in my Aldridge-Brownhills Constituency who will be impacted by the scrapping of the Winter Fuel Payment.
The sudden decision to eliminate the Winter Fuel Payment without conducting a full impact assessment of means testing raises serious concerns. It is alarming that the Chancellor of the Exchequer is continuing to push ahead with a political decision to scrap the Winter Fuel Payment, affecting a significant number of pensioners, only a few months ahead of the winter.
I will continue to be a voice for the residents of Aldridge-Brownhills.
