As part of the Government Reshuffle the Prime Minister asked me to join the Government as an Assistant Government Whip. I am absolutely delighted to join the Whips office, where I will be helping to steer Government Legislation through the House of Commons. As a member of the Government, I will have additional duties and responsibilities but this does not mean that my duties or responsibilities to all of my constituents in Aldridge-Brownhills are diminished. I am still your Member of Parliament and will continue to represent you at Westminster. I can of course still respond to constituents queries and am still able to raise your comments, concerns and issues with Government Ministers, Departments and their agencies directly.
