It was a pleasure to visit Acorns Hospice in Walsall and meet with Toby Porter and staff members to learn more about the amazing work they undertake, and to hear about the vital fundraising that so many community groups and individuals are involved with locally.
In particular though I would like to commend James Wright who has just undertaken 31 marathons in 31-days on behalf of Acorns to raise funds for the charity, and well done to Toby for joining him for a run just before my visit.
