It was a genuine pleasure to attend the VE Day 80 Assembly at Ryders Hayes. Hearing about the pupils’ engaging activities throughout the week, undertaken to honour and celebrate VE Day, was truly inspiring.
It’s vital that we instill in our younger generations an understanding of the significance of the end of World War II and ensure we continue to remember the sacrifices of all those who served and fought for the freedoms we cherish today.
My sincere thanks to Mrs. Paul and Mrs. Deeley for the kind invitation to see firsthand the dedication and hard work of your pupils. I very much look forward to visiting again in the near future.
