It’s always a pleasure to pop into Streetly Community Library and catch up with Dominque and her team who offer an increasing range of services and activities for local residents including computer help sessions, and children’s activities.
It is a good opportunity to catch up with local residents and of course the amazing ‘Friends of Streetly Library’ who arrange additional activities from coffee and doughnuts to the recent Christmas celebration with face painting, singing and children’s crafts.
There is much more to our local libraries than just books.
And a special shout out must go to the Friends of Streetly Library Christmas Tree decorated with mini book titles at the Streetly Christmas Tree Festival, one of my (many) favourites.
