Last week I attended the Age UK Summer Reception in Parliament.
A number of my Aldridge-Brownhills constituents contacted me about the event, and I was pleased to attend.
I was able to hear first-hand about the work which Age UK are doing on the ground to help older people.
Across the UK we still face the challenge of ensuring that all our older people’s social care needs are met. As our life expectancy continues to increase, it will become even more important to ensure that older people receive the care that they need.
