Knowing how much we value and care about our local environment, I continue to campaign about the need to crack down on litter and fly tipping.
I was therefore delighted to be able to pop along to one of Walsall Council’s Free Community Skip Days last weekend, and find out how the scheme is working. I also had a good chat about rubbish and recycling with the operatives on duty.
This is a great initiative running across the Walsall Borough up until the end of March, and on Saturday 2 February between 9am and 11am the skip will be at Blackwood Methodist Church, Blackwood Road, Streetly.
