May Day Bank Holiday means one thing locally – Rushall May Fayre – and once again I enjoyed attending this great day of family fun and entertainment. As always there was plenty to see and do, including the classic car display, and an opportunity to stock up on some homemade cakes to take back to Westminster with me. A treat for my colleagues in the Whips Office!
New for this year at the May Fayre was the Dog Parade, and what a fantastic turnout there was. Choosing the winners was difficult but luckily I had the May Fayre Queen and Princess to join me with the judging. We had lots of fun categories too including ‘Waggiest Tail’, and ‘Unusual Ears’.
Congratulations to the organising committee and all of the volunteers who once again made this a superb May Fayre.
