It was good to be able to meet the community Rehabilition Alliance in Parliament and learn more about the work they do. I also met Kate Tantam, a specialist Sister of ICU Rehabilitation who founded the #RehabLegend campaign which shares patient’s stories.
Rehabilitation plays a crucial role in helping people recover from illness and injuries and I thanked them for the work they do.
The real star of the day though was Poppy – the very wonderful and hard working therapy dog.
