Recess is a good time to prepare work for when Parliament returns, but equally important it’s a chance to get out and about, meet with residents, community groups and businesses and listen to your views.

So I was pleased last week to be able to meet residents at my Pop Up Surgeries at Pelsall Village Centre and High Heath Hub High Heath Hub.

As always, we were well received and I had an enjoyable time whilst picking up and discussing local issues. What matters to local residents matters to me – be that crime and policing, the general state of our local environment including litter and fly tipping, or schools and education.

All of the issues which have been raised are currently being taken up on behalf of residents and we will be back in touch shortly. If you have an issue then please do not hesitate to get in touch with me at wendy.morton.mp@parliament.uk
