It was good to make a return visit to the Aldridge Transport Museum, along with West Midlands Mayor Andy Street.

The museum is a valuable community asset which for the last 40-years has allowed us to preserve the heritage and legacy of road transport vehicles from across the West Midlands.

Andy and I were delighted to visit the Museum and also meet the volunteers who work so hard to maintain this wonderful collection of vehicles.

The Ice Cream Van, and the Milk Float are among my favourites as of course is the Red Route Master bus and other vintage double deckers, and we were fortunate enough to hop on for a quick ride round Aldridge!
