This week is National Neighbourhood Policing Week. I recently had the pleasure of catching up again with Chief Superintendent Phil Dolby. During our conversation, we discussed a range of local neighbourhood policing issues and the work Phil and his team are undertaking to ensure the safety of our local communities and the wider Borough.
I took the opportunity to thank Phil and his team for all that they do, and also raise the matter of Aldridge Police Station, which is an essential asset to our local community and resource for our local police.
I will continue to advocate for the retention of this vital resource as we work together to create a safer and more secure future for our area.
