Events are taking place this week across England to celebrate the success of apprenticeships and to encourage even more people to choose an apprenticeship as a pathway to a great career.
This year’s theme for National Apprenticeship Week is ‘Skills for Life’.
I have always been a big supporter of Apprenticeships and the role they play in bridging the skills gap. There is nothing like hearing from young people about their experiences and their achievements.
Here in my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency, we are fortunate to have InComm Training and Business Services where I have met with employers and apprentices on many occasions and seen first hand the benefits of apprenticeships.
I congratulate In Comm and all our local employers who are willing to invest time and money into apprentices as the skills gap would be a lot wider without their continued investment.
