It was a great opportunity to be out and about today and to pop in to some of the many fantastic fund-raising events that were going on for Macmillan Cancer Support. The Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has become something of an annual feature in my constituency diary and this year was no exception starting with Coffee and Shortbread at Wm. Wheat & Son Florist, Garden Centre & Cafe!
The Coffee Mornings once again encouraged people to get together and talk about the issues people living with cancer have to deal with as well as learn more about the outstanding work that Macmillan offers to people affected by cancer whilst fundraising for the Charity.
Of course, I couldn’t resist coffee and a slice of cake or two at WalsallWood FC, St Michael & All Angels Church, Pelsall, The Hawthorns Aldridge and the library.
