In Parliament last week I once again raised the concerning issue of violent knife crime, which has a devastating impact on individuals, families, and communities across the country.
A recent documentary by The Express and Star titled ‘Grief’ serves as a powerful and poignant reminder of the need to continue to raise awareness of knife crime prevention, and the dangers posed by zombie knives and machetes.
We need to see progress on the legislation to ban zombie-style knives and machetes, and I will continue to advocate for this in Parliament and to speak up on this matter.
