Since November, The National Lottery Community Fund has awarded £20,000 to community projects in Aldridge-Brownhills.
This includes the James Brindley Foundation, a charity many will know of locally in Aldridge and beyond. I was delighted to hear that this fantastic organisation received substantial support for the vital work they do.
The funding will be used to deliver a programme for young people under 25 targeted on reducing youth offending and learning conflict resolution. The project aims to address issues some young people face at the earliest possible stage before these escalate.
The Foundation are inspirational in the great work and support they provide to local people and our community through what have been some extremely challenging times.
