Today marks International Day of the Girl, and I had the pleasure of celebrating alongside members of Girlguiding recently in Parliament as they unveiled their 16th Girls’ Attitudes Survey.

Their report sheds light on various issues affecting girls and young women throughout the UK. It is deeply concerning to learn that 77% of girls aged 7-21 have faced online harm in the past year. I am eager to collaborate with Girlguiding to ensure that the Online Safety Act is comprehensive and adapts to the challenges posed by our ever-evolving online landscape.
