It was lovely to join local Councillors and volunteers in Pelsall this weekend at their Great British Spring Clean.
The Great British Spring Clean is an excellent initiative organised by Keep Britain Tidy, bringing together people to clear up litter that blights our local communities. It was wonderful on Saturday to once again see the camaraderie on the part of everyone who took part and the continued sense of pride they all have in Pelsall.
Across my constituency the enjoyment and appreciation for our precious Commons and Open Spaces is evident, as is the tremendous sense of pride in our communities. So much of this is down to those who play an active role, either as individuals or part of a group. By doing even a small bit, together we can collectively make a big difference.
