As we end our transition period with the European Union we are putting in place plans to make Great Britain and Northern Ireland a truly more global country.

Global in its outlook working with new friends and old allies alike.

We have already signed a new trade deal with Japan and last week we demonstrated that we were taking back control of our waters signing a new fisheries co-operation agreement with Norway for the first time in more than 45-years.  And, for the first time in more than 20-years we are exporting British Beef to the United States.

As we enter the final stages of working to secure a trade deal with the European Union we are also putting in place the parameters of a new ‘Global Britain’.
