Further Good News to kerb Unauthorised Traveller Encampments! I have repeatedly raised the issue of Unauthorised Traveller Encampments in Parliament following local concerns from right across my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency.
This year the number of Unauthorised Traveller Encampments has been lower than previously experienced, however where these encampments have taken place they have understandably distressed local residents.
I am therefore pleased that following continued action by Walsall Council a permanent injunction to prevent future Unauthorised Traveller Encampments has been placed on Brownhills Common and Holland Park in Brownhills.
I am also aware the Council are seeking to extend the injunction to other areas within Aldridge-Brownhills. Above all I am pleased to see that our precious green and open spaces in Brownhills will now have greater protection.
