I was delighted that the Government has committed £36 million towards a new Emergency Department at the Manor Hospital. The announcement is part of a £1 billion funding stream for healthcare facilities across England.
The funding award is testament to Richard Beeken, the Chief Executive and all of the hard working staff at the Manor Hospital and I was pleased to be able to support the bid.
The new facilities will be great for patients across Walsall, including Aldridge-Brownhills, and for all the staff working in our local emergency services.
