Last week a number of residents across my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency were affected by freak weather conditions that caused flash flooding in and around their properties.
I visited a number of affected families in Brownhills and Pelsall on Thursday evening to see first-hand the disruption which this was caused, and I am in the process of contacting Severn Trent Water on behalf of constituents who have contacted me, so that we obtain a full response as to what action they are taking to ensure that this matter is given immediate attention.
For some families this is the second time in only a matter of weeks that their homes and gardens have flooded and we now need to see some determined action on the part of Severn Trent and other agencies for everyone who has been affected.
