Today is International Women’s Day – a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
The aim of the IWD 2023 #EmbraceEquity campaign is to get the world talking about why equal opportunities are not enough. Equality isn’t simply a nice-to-have – it’s a must-have.
We are very fortunate to have some excellent strong female leaders across our local communities including in our Schools, our Churches, Businesses, Healthcare, and at the Council, and of course in our Community Groups and Organisations.
