An Afternoon Tea Dance in Aldridge, and a chance to see Joyce and Jim again. Maybe I’ll join in the next time I drop by, after a bit more practice!

St Michaels School celebrated their 150th Anniversary this week and I was delighted to join in with the celebrations and hear about all the fun things the children have been doing in their Victorian-themed week.

I also met with the Principle of Aldridge School to hear more about all of the achievements of the school and its pupils, including their production of Phantom of the Opera.

The weekend was a busy one! Pelsall Carnival was a huge success and I was honored to be there and crown this year’s Carnival Queen. There were some fantastic and very creative floats too. It was an excellent day.

The fun didn’t stop there though. On Sunday I joined some friends and we did Rosie’s Walk – finishing the 3 miles just before the rains came!
