I would like to congratulate Boris Johnson on being elected as the Leader of the Conservative and Unionist Party.
Boris will bring an energy, a vision and a determination to ensure we get on and deliver Brexit, and then we can start to address the issues which are affecting people right across Aldridge-Brownhills.
As a former Mayor of London I know the importance Boris places on regional devolution and I am sure he will work closely with our West Midlands Mayor, Andy Street to deliver projects in our region.
Boris at his heart is a unifier and I know his first priority will be to unite our Party and our Country with a renewed sense of hope and optimism for the future.
