It was a pleasure to be invited to the official opening last weekend of the new Rushall Hub in the former library building Following the closure of the library, the Rushall Development Group together with local residents, community groups, Councillors and Council officers have all worked together to make the Rushall Hub a reality, ensuring that we have retained this important community asset.

The volunteers have worked extremely hard to create this new facility for the community with a book club and many other activities, and Saturday was an opportunity to meet some of them and find out more. We were very kindly provided with tea and cake, courtesy of the Pelsall Reading Rooms.

After the Mayor had officially opened the Hub, the cake was cut, and prizes were awarded to the winner and runners up in the schools competition to design the display sign for outside the building.

Well done to Alfie on the winning logo design!
