On December 12th residents from across my Aldridge-Brownhills constituency returned me to Parliament with more than 70% of the votes cast to ensure that we deliver on the 2016 EU Referendum and ‘Get Brexit Done!’.
Since then we have wasted no time in ensuring we achieve that aim and I was pleased as your Member of Parliament to join more than 300 colleagues in the Parliamentary lobbies last week and support the final stages of the EU Withdrawal Bill through the House of Commons.
The legislation now passes from the House of Commons and to the House of Lords, but as we promised during the General Election we are getting on with the job, ensuring that we will leave the European Union on Friday 31st January.
As your Member of Parliament I will continue to vote to ensure that happens.
