It has been a great summer to be out and about across the constituency. I have really enjoyed being part of so many of your events and activities and had the opportunity to meet and chat with many of you.
However, its back to Parliament today and it’s a big week in which I will continue to raise the important issues which matter to all of you!
I am hoping today to raise the importance of protecting our Green Belt and Open Spaces. Tomorrow, I intend to speak in the Passenger Railway Services Bill and to once again raise the issue of bringing a train station back to Aldridge.
On Wednesday evening I will be in the Chamber to speak about the closure of Police Stations in the West Midlands, and to raise the need to retain our Police Station in Aldridge.
And of course, I will be speaking up about the shameless decision of the current Government to end Winter Fuel Payments for older people.
It is going to be a busy week, but I look forward to being back on patch across Aldridge-Brownhills at the end of the week.
