As Britain fell silent on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month we once again came together as a nation in an Act of Remembrance to honour those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

Whilst the Coronavirus pandemic has meant we have had to find new and innovative ways to be able to preserve our national Act of Remembrance and I would like to pay tribute to the individuals, volunteers and community groups, our schools, uniformed services, the scouts, guiding groups and many other local organisations came together alongside the Royal British Legion and veterans for rising to this challenge – Thank you again to you all.

Lest we forget.
