It was a pleasure to be able to meet with representatives from Aldridge North Neighbourhood Watch last week.

It was good to hear about their on-going work and the extensive and wide-reaching engagement the Neighbourhood Watch continue to have with their members and the wider community and the ways in which they work to support our local neighbourhood policing teams. Their hard work and commitment really does make a difference.

It was also good to be able to update them about the Government’s consultation on Unauthorised Traveller Encampments and my continued opposition to the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner’s plans to close Aldridge Police Station.
